AS400 developer

Counterfort is a company that provides all ICT applications for Cortina. It is a place where different ICT knowledge is centralized and strengthened. Counterfort is responsible for the ICT implementations of Cortina: an international and ambitious family-owned business. For generations Cortina has been active in the fashion and shoe industry. Today, Cortina sells worldwide 25 million pairs of shoes a year. In addition to their own collection, they also focus strongly on their brands such as Safety Jogger, Patrick Teamwear and Sprox.

In order to equip itself for the future, Counterfort is looking for an additional employee in their AS400 department. Are you very successful in AS400 development? Are you always looking for process improvement? Then we have an interesting job for you as an AS 400 Developer.

Function
  • You will strengthen the AS 400 team. This team is responsible for various projects within warehousing, logistics, sales, purchase, accountancy, ... On which project you will be working depends on your interests and experience
  • You will carry out analyses and translate them into programmable solutions
  • You develop and program these solutions in AS400 and ensure that they are properly implemented
  • You assist the business in the use of the new applications and train them to use the new features properly
  • You support the business when they have additional questions and adjust where necessary
  • You like innovation and carry it out in every step of the way
Profile
  • You have at least a bachelor's degree and have experience in AS400 programming.
  • You have knowledge of RPG, Rdi and DB2
  • Experience with web services and SQL server is a plus
  • You are also familiar with XML, JSON, HTML and CSS.
  • You are analytical and think proactively in improving business processes
  • You like to communicate with the business
  • Fluent in Dutch and English

As the brand is convinced that a lot of opportunities are ahead of us in the Latin American market, we are hiring a Business Development Manager for the South American market.

Job description
  • Developing new business by identifying new opportunities in the market
  • Bringing new distribution partners in South America, starting with Chile, Colombia and Peruv
  • Visits to distributors of P(ersonal) P(rotective) E(quipment), and offering the best products in their range
  • Develop strong customer relationships and bring solutions for them
  • Attending PPE trade shows and other international exhibitions
  • Analyzing turnover of your customers in order to act promptly
  • Being an active member of the worldwide sales team, advising in product development
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Managing your own time and diary, traveling through South America
  • Report to the Global Director of Safety Jogger
Your profile
  • Proven experience in B2B sales in PPE business and have built a strong network within the region
  • Understand the steps of the sales process
  • Strong negotiating, entrepreneurial, analytical skills to ensure customer’s satisfaction
  • Flexibility to adapt to situations arising
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish and English

Job description
  • Managing and developing our marketplace accounts in Europe with the first focus on Amazon
  • You select, manage and determine the right product portfolio per target group (country / account). Based on analyses, you make suggestions herein
  • You know the Amazon Vendor Central platform from A to Z or you are willing to get more in-depth information about it (we offer the possibility to follow a training course on this via partners); article set-up, sales analysis & marketing tools
  • Daily management of our product catalogue and sales activities
  • You create a complete marketing strategy, through Amazon marketing services, Vine and other possible services (we offer the possibility to follow a training through partners).
  • You support and coordinate all processes related to Amazon and other marketplaces: order tracking, logistics, returns, administration flow. You try to implement further automation every step of the way
  • Together with your manager, you determine a clear online sales and marketing strategy and embrace all opportunities.
  • You will improve the turnover and profitability of our online accounts
  • You bring fresh and new insights into the marketing team and initiate a synergy between online and offline
  • In addition to the online story, you support and strengthen our marketing department.
Your profile
  • You have at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. language, communication, marketing, sales, technology, ...).
  • ou have a first work experience in a sales, marketing or communication environment
  • You are communicative, sales oriented and a real team player with a spontaneous personality
  • You are enterprising, have perseverance and are not deterred by challenging targets and tight deadlines
  • You have a hands-on mentality and show initiative
  • You like to work as a team in order to achieve good results
  • You speak English at a professional level, a good knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
